First off Zaino isn't a carnuba wax. The problem with carnuba wax is that it is yellow in color which actually discolors the paints finish. Zaino is a polish and as for how long it lasts. On my cobra I used it last spring, yes last spring and it's been through the spring, summer, fall, and now a VERY harsh winter. The car still shines better than ever. I've used Mothers, Zymol, and McGuieres all of which were good but not comparable to Zaino. When I get home I'll post a pic that I took a month after I Zainod my Cobra. It is a pic of me taking the pic in the reflection of my paint. Don't listen to this guy and buy the Zaino. Go to Corral.net and do a search about Zaino and you'll see everyone there is using it and noone has any complaints.

Just curious before I spend a s*** load of money on the stuff.

It is the best bang for the buck for a detailer in a hurry because it's easy to apply and can be done with a machine, however a quality detail job (the ones I charge $200 for) will only be accomplished by a good carnuaba.

okay........so; what are you recommending here? I was going to start with Meguiar's Deep Crystal System Step 2 (Polish) - then Step 3 (Wax).
I have a friend who is fanatical about his car care (the way I used to be, and the way I will be again). He highly recommends these Meguiar's products. His Hondas look amazing! One has nearly 200,000 miles on it.
Both of my cars are nearly brand new, and I plan on keeping them looking that way. I had a problem with my 1999 Nissan SE Limited. It was so bad; that I could not get the bugs off the front. It was like they were in the clear coat. Talk about a nightmare! This friend, I mentioned above, even clay barred it when he detailed it for me 2 years ago. Oh; it looked excellent overall, except for the bug problem. I will be damned if I will let that happen again on these new Mazdas!!
So,,, I am open to suggestions.
