Water leaking in!

I'm having a problem with my '06 mazda3. When it rains I get water leaking into the windshield doorposts. The windshield seal appears to be good and NOT the problem. I popped up the trim strip in the roof gutter and saw no apparent problem but I applied some silicone sealant at the windshield transition just in case. The drivers side is bad, the passenger side not so bad but still leaks.

Water drips at from the point where the fabric headliner meets the plastic post trim.

It drives me nuts!! Anybody have a clue??

Under the axiom of "Appearances can be deceiving," I'd take it to a dealership to have it checked out, even the windshield seal.

Follow-up questions that might help diagnose:
- Does it leak if it's just sitting in the driveway/street in the rain, or does it have to be moving for the water to leak in?
- Does it have a moonroof?
