Want to make my Mazda5 stop fuel diluting. How?

OK, so I have some familiarity with what tools are available to mess with ECU programming on my Subaru. I haven't yet been able to figure out what the drill is with Mazdas, though.

I'd like to play around with the programming of our Mazda5. Std MZR 2.3-liter engine. The thing is, this engine is dumping lots of fuel periodically, perhaps to deal with NOx. While I don't mind that per se, it is causing fuel dilution in the oil which is damaging the oil and thus the engine and I want to stop that. I'M NOT AFTER MORE HP. I want to try to figure out when the thing is dumping in the extra fuel and try to stop it to make the oil and engine last longer. Is anyone willing to give me some pointers, please? All help is appreciated. Thank you.

P.S. I don't have big bucks to spend on this project, if I go forward with these efforts at all. Also, this issue is almost across the board on new engines from manufacturers around the globe so it's not Mazda-specific.
