want a new exhaust system but dont know wat to get

If you're going catless, the Corksport will be very, very loud and drone on the freeway, even with the silencer in. I was disappointed w/ the fitment (hangers). The tip sticks out about 4in past the bumper and rubs.

I test fit a Racing Beat axel back portion on and it sounds 100% better. I now have a MS axel back that I need to test fit and see how it sounds. Hopefully there isn't much difference.

I've heard nothing but good reviews for the Megan racing exhaust.

i did have a mazda racing header, magnaflow cat and mazdaspeed rear sectino and it was loud as hell! i got tired of it and now have the stock rear section on. ill give my mazdaspeed rear to someone who will pick it up and buy me a steak dinner ;)

you still have it??

that Magnaflow looks slick. I usually hate parts made by domestic companies. In the end, any of the mentioned exhaust are going to be better than stock. I would not get the corksport, that s*** is loud and no cats smells like crap...thus you will smell like it after driving. It's not a big decision, anything is better than stock. I'd go magnaflow, and i normally hate magnaflow products.

Megan? Sounds like ebay crap.

yep def mandrel bend, they ran the pipes through their fancy machine and voila i had a new exhaust system (cheers)

There is no such thing as a Meineke with a mandrel bender. They all do crush bends...it *looks* similar to mandrel, but it's not the same. It's not a "kink" bend, but it does lose surface area. Trust.

i vote for meagan

sound's ******* awesome
I have the meagan and it does sound amazing. It is a little loud, though I've never had the silencer in. I'm gonna go after the hks or greddy which I originally wanted, so I'll be selling the meagan catback within the week. (thumb)

I had the megan catback, damn thing made my ears pop if the windows were up and I was on the throttle. Nice tone, just too loud for my tastes w\ a header.

GO custom, my megan didnt fit for s*** and I had to bend hangers and use hose clamps on some yada yada yada to keep it from banging around under there.

u mentioned hose clamps...was this to keep the posts steady when inserted into the hangers?? ive heard this mentioned before and i just cant visualize it. that would be my one complaint, my exhaust keeps shifting to the right no matter how much i shift it to the left...so im curious about the use of hose clamps.

thanx in advance
