VIS Evo Hood Owners...

I have a few questions about this hood.
1) How long have you had it - 1 year
2) Any discoloration/fading - yea it's faded pretty bad
3) Hows fitment - great fitment
4) would you buy it again - yea because mine got ***** when i forgot to latch my hoodpins

the vis hood is a s*** load lighter then stock...... no discoloartion..... and this is my second one........ first one was in a car wreck..... and from what i was told by alot of people every c/f hood has a fiberglass underside. but i do know it is lighter

I guess my question would be then.. Lighter hood on a front wheel drive.. I mean yah for style... but for performance ehhhh??!?! If you want sho that's fine but I mean wheel hop already sucks lol..

the buy new motor mounts...... wheel hop goes away..... i just wanted a vented hood to let some of the heat from my turbo out

I was wondering is there a way to keep the hood from fading or discolorating?

I guess there could be a couple of bad ones in the bunch because mine has 3 rather large cracks in it along w/ a little discoloration. Of course, the cracks could be from my 135 mph highway fun runs I do occasionally !

go with the reverse cowl hood...mike u said u were goin to pick up ur gemini composites color hood a couple weeks ago!!...lol u damn liar

mine has cracked right above my turbo but i assume it is from all the heat i am trying to dissapate between the vents and i didnt install my heat shield yet...... but i can fix that soon
