Just installed a PG manifold, fired it up, RPMs shot up to 3000 at idle then went down and up continuosly. Ken at PG said the throttle cable might need adjusting, but it was fine before. Anyone had this problem ?
I'm fighting this right now. There is a very loud whistle. I changed out the TB gasket and that keeps the idle high whereas before it was idling high but then stalling out. I sprayed starting fluid near the area I think it is and that had an effect on the idle. Its right by the fuel pulsation dampener. There is no vacuum hose there though. Can a bad injector seal cause this? Only other thing I could think of is the manifold gasket itself.
