man great job on the valve cover!!!! If you need any help with the headlights let me know.

i would if you sent it to me, it was kinda fun...ok so my headlights are IN THE OVEN!

ugh...lets not ever talk about the headlights...EVER again. they are back on the car and will never be touched again...i just hope i can get some eyelids that will stick to the ******* MELTED PORTION on the top of the left assembly. see my other post for details...lets keep talking about the good outcome of the valve cover instead!

what happened?? Its shouldnt have melted, did you set the oven too hot? Pm me some pics I might be able to help. You are the first person to mess the headlights up in the oven.

Grade A man! Where did u find the paint and how long did the project take you? Anywhoo.....looks sweet!

thanks a lot...the paint you can find at www.paintscratch.com, and it took about a full day of work. not that it was difficult in the least bit, but youve got to wait for the paint to dry and there is a good 8 total coats there, 9 if you count the red lettering...factor in sleep time and 1 hour for the lettering, and youve got a car you cant drive for a day...i think its worth it though...thanks for stopping by and checkin out my s*** though!

Yeah, I followed ghost's how-to to the letter and everything came out great. I painted mine red, just can't get a dig cam to post images. Sorry, to thread jack. Back on subject, your cover looks bad ass. I am going to do mine now. Red block with silver lettering I think. Thanks for the pics and website to get matched paint. Oh, one more thread jack...ghost your ****** ride is always a joy to look at at any angle you bastard. Ha. Ok, back to the subject. Peace.

yea no problem...if you ever get the pics of your headlights let me know...it does take awhile to get the paint from paintscratch, but its well worth it...

im in the process tonite of painting my upper grill. I also got it from paintscratch.com Thanks to derrick. As of now it looks a lil dark, but i think every coat its getting a lil closer. Only thing is i cant match up the colors because i dont have my car now, just the grill. I think a few more coats then some clear coat it should match nice.

thanks paul, your opinion is always appreciated! tell me, how is your WMS midpipe workin for ya?

well i guess that answers my question...i take it your car is still at andy's? i emailed him about the pipe because he wanted to charge me tax and i was like you shouldnt need to over the internet...so i emailed him to see if he figured that out, and also when my pipe was gonna get made, but he hasnt responded, i guess hes busy with another job?! stay tuned, im painting my heat shield the same blue, cause it looks outta place...all the blue might look a bit tacky, but im gonna get some red hoses, maybe 1st mp3 ground kit in red, and some red caps i might do myself...hopefully it wont look overboard, but until i get my AWR headers the heat shield looks nasty in that cheap aluminum color...

No one else has said this, so here goes: I see why you went blue and red, but that undersoat looks sweet!!!!! It looks like the flat finish emblems on the MSP! When I saw that I was like "WOAH!" then you pulled out all the stops for the rest. The lettering looks perfect! Great jorb!

He charged me tax also. but i payed in person. I saw the midpipe it looks real nice, mine has a high flow cat in it, he mentioned your is gonna be with no cat. My car is done to an extent, they sent the wrong damn turbo so weds the new one comes in and it should be done by fri or sat.

here is a pic from last week. Everything is in except the turbo in the pic is getting replaced by a water cooled turbo. and then hes gonna tie in the downpipe. The grill that is missing is in my basement. Ill have pics up of what it looks like this week, i have been taking my time with it. I need a few more coats of blue then i'll start clear coating.
