As soon as someone donates their wrecked MS3 its on baby! I'll just Sawzall the nose off'n the 5 and glue the 3 nose on with about three tubes of JB Weld! Cover of SCC here I come!! On topic, I agree with "I just call it a 5" I have met two other owners and both times said" How do you like your 5?" If we must use an acronym how about HATITRAM? Haulin Ass through the Twisties is that Really A Mini-van?

At the gas station, another M5 owner greeted me: ' How do you like your Five? 'Very much' I said. you got a 5 too?

Same thing happened... I was filling up my tires and an Impreza owner (maybe in his upper 30's) asked how I liked my Mazda. Of course I told him I love it! I let him know the Impreza was the 2nd on my list, lacking only in interior room. Makes you feel all warm and fuzzy when random folk ask about and compliment your ride

We used to have a beater car, an old buick. But now it's 'pending repair'.. so the M5 is taking over the duties.. battle scars will soon be earned on the M5's waxed phantom blue exterior.. I think the MAzda5 is not as 'ruggedized' as an suv or a minivan. The 'soft closing' sliding doors makes it appear as if the doors are not strong so they make it smooth because it can't survive the slamming that typical minivan users do.

If the M5 were a laundry, I would set the washing machine to 'delicate'..
