I just installed my Tein Coilovers.... I noticed after I put the car on the ground that the rear driver and rear pass are at no at the same height... I think all I have to do is play around with the adjustment to even them out but I;m not sure.... has anyone else who put on coilovers run into this? and what did you do to correct it?(dunno)

No sleeves their full coil overs... but I did check and they are all seated firmly.... also as i lower one sid ethe other is lowering also. Now I've put on Tien Coil overs before, but I've never had this issue. I'll keep trying the adjustment.

Yeah but i'm not settig the car up to make left truns all the time... I should be able to set the coilovers so they are pretty close... even if it's with in 1/4" but I have over 1/2" diff from side to side.... and it's only in the rear.

want to make it even? uhh, it's called corner weighting
Hey smart ass...Corner wightinghas nothing to do with ride heighth and how even each corner is. You show me more than 2 people on this board who have actully set up a DD for corner weight...He just wants an even ride height....Depending on how you want to set up your car...you could potentially end up with an uneven ride height ride your proper corner weight set up. Round tracks are a perfect example.

Why don't you quit being the know it all ass...you are starting to wear thin on a lot of older members nerves with your rude and uncalled for statements. I don't care how much you know or how long you've been here...Quit being a dick!

Now..on to your question..yes...you need to play with the ride height setting on your coils...It may take a bit..but you will get it leveled out....Take somemeasurements before and after to see how much more or less you want to move it.

Thanks that what i thought.... but I've been at this for a while after a long night out.... so i figured I'd check......
Thank again .... I'll put some picks up when it's all done

Make sure you are adjusting the spring perch heights...not the stiffness setting...Those will do nothing for ride heighth.

How do you mean? From what I've read on Tien's web page the only thing I can adjust on this style of coil overs is the height, but I know the more I raise or lower the car the stiffer or loser the spring will be respectively becasue of compression...
Please correct me if I'm worng..... becasue I've spent the last hr and a half adjusting the spring seat to finally level out the car.

Took a while but I got it done, also wanted to drive it around ... here are some pics... I do plan to go a little lower but I'm getting my fenders rolled by April so I can wait a few weeks..... Also put on an ARW 22mm sway bar with adjustable endlinks... I can really feel the diff when I turn. Felt great on I 95 too.
Thank for all the help
