Who are you to judge what's ugly and not? What if someone were to say that they thought your interior neons were the ugliest things they've ever seen? Would you appreciate someone judging you? When you are in the import scene you need to be able to take critisism. Obviously you are hooking up a car and everybody is gonna have an opinion on it. As for that car i think its disgusting and i would've rather spent that much money on a geo storm or something. I look at that car and i think "a ruined P5, what a waste", just like just about every other person in miami that has mentioned that P5. Just like i know people won't like my car i don't care, i hook it up for me to like and if somebody hates it thats their opinion and i could care less. If you don't like being judged don't hook up your car and take it to shows. Last time i checked that was the point of shows. And as for JRTEK i bet he wishes he can spend 1/8th of what this guy spent on his car, but i also know that JRTEK would have A LOT more taste in his mods and would do it right (even though now i lmao at his car everyday because of stupid neons and stuff like that).

I completely agree, just because you don't like it, doesn't mean anything. I give this guy props just for having the balls big enough to do it!

It may not be everyone's style, and that's OK, because that's what makes this "sport" so great. Everyone likes something different, and if they have the balls (and money) to do what they want with their car, then more power to them!

You mean to say that JRTEK would do it HIS way, to HIS taste. Because HIS taste would not be the same as everybody, even though that is not the point. The point is fix your ride up the way YOU want it, and when you see something different don't be so quick to judge it. This hobby, as in most any hobby, is about diversisty. Fore without it we would all look the same, and isn't that partly the reason why we are all in this hobby to begin with?
Hmm... I personaly am not here to go around bashing other people's cars because they are not my "thing" or "taste".
So I try to follow the rule of thumb stated early..."If you don't have anything nice(on the positive side) to say then don't say anything at all."

Overall yes I will agree personally the presentation of the car is not to my likeing.

However break it down to the time and effort involved, then I can it respect.

It is a bit of a overkill for a car to be shown, but that rides on my personally liking. There is however regardless a point in project making that you can go to far. This is a decent example of that. The paint work alone though is neat, as it required skill to think of it and finally to put it in place.

When looking at show cars I personally like to see something new, but with a degree of simpliest.


But Wow though I do not like the look it is still amazing job.

On a side note, learn to least look beyond what anger you may develop. Last thing I want to see if the Protege club turn into another DSM or Honda poo throwing contest. Arguements are all fine and well, and can be healthly. However remember its not YOUR car. And if you think you can do better, make a nicer looking show Protege then by all means go out and do it.
