Two Tone

I've looked at the way that some p5 owners two tone their cars with the triangle part of the hood black and the room/spoiler black, with the rest of the car w/e color they like. Well my car right now if the factory classic red. But the clear coats is gone in some places so I was thinking about painting my car.

Now the two questions I have.
1.) I pretty much want the two tone paint that I was talking about before, and I wanted to get the red deeper so it'd look nicer with the black. How much would something like this cost?
2.) I'm not an aggressive driver, on a normal basis I wouldn't go 5 miles per hour over the speed limit. I'm getting obx headers, a rb exhaust, and an sls catted midpipe put on soon. Would the police (piss) be giving me a lot trouble (also I'm 17 so I'm still a "newish" driver with my restricted license)

1) In my honest opinion, leave the paint alone man. You'll most likely regret it a couple years later because you could have started to work on other parts of your car. If you are looking for a good paint job, I would give you a ROUGH estimate of about 2000-3000 unless you know someone.

2) That setup looks really good. I have a similar one that I will be done installing in a few days. The cops shouldn't give you s*** at all unless you drive like an idiot. Then again, you could be in an oldsmobile and get the cops' attention. It's always up to you.

you could do it like mine and just use vinyl. cost me about $50. my bud owns a graphics shop so it might be abit more expensive for you but nothing more the acouple hundred.

If you plan on selling the car one day I'd stick away from custom vinyl/paint work. It will make your car only appealing to other 17 year olds or hardcore enthusiasts. Just a thought.

I'm not planning on selling the car, I'm gunna try and keep it as long as possible, it's only got 16 thousand miles on it so it's really nice. The guy I bought it from didn't do anything to the car though when I bought it from him the stock tires were still on and practically bald haha. But where can I get the vinyls from? And hows the quality on them? Easy to peel? How long would they last though the common wear and tear?

You can get your vinyl from anywhere really. Online, store, shop, wherever. The durability depends on the vinyl. Some can last "7 years" but that always depends. Best bet is to find someone that know how to do vinyl unless you feel really comfortable cutting it all yourself. I can't believe you only have 16 thousand on that car though. That's amazing.

Where exactly can I find a vinyl like that though? I live in Jersey so idk what the shipping or w/e would be. Plus I can't find that type of design anywhere on google

You could contact Jackelope (Barry) on here. I know he does vinyl but not sure if he does hood/roofs. Also do a search for the member Bluebatmobile (Andy). He does custom vinyl stuff too. If they can't help maybe they can point you in the right direction.
