Two tone painted calipers

Nice job! I'm planning on painting my own calipers this weekend. After seeing what you did with your own, I may have to reconsider my method... (bowdown)

Thread back from dead....

I did this with mine as well a year ago. Never noticed this thread though, just thought it would look better and not as bold as full red calipers.

OK, so what method is best here?
We have
1. Spray
2. Brush

and remove or paint while installed.

Duplicolor or G2
and what is G2?

When u have a white P5 (like I do), with stock rims and black/CF is my only other color,
what color do I paint my calipers
a. black
b. silver
c. both
d. other?

Silver clashes with the stock rims. Black goes with everything. Yellow and red are nice highlight colors but they will attract attention and yellow doesn't look to hot when its covered in brake dust.

1. Spray
2. Use engine paint and remove calipers
3. Red or Silver

my opinion!

I have black on a silver car, i used high temp brake caliper paint and sprayed it directly on a foam brush and applied to clean and lightly sanded calipers on the car. I did this close to two years ago and i put like five coats on, never have had to retouch it. want a picture?
