Two tone painted calipers

how long did it take?
The rear calipers were used and were off so I took my time painting them and don't really have a time frame. I guess if you did it all at once you could do it in a day. Waiting for the paint to dry and being patient about coats is the boring part. I put on many coats of color and then tons of clear - 10min between coats and 40min between paints... that adds up to... I don't know.

I am so rice that I don't even realize that I am rice. It's sad, really.

those look nice doug.....i really have to really touch up my calpiers. thinking about giving them all a new painting when i do my rear pads.

i like the rotors......

Guess what I cooked up in my rice cooker last night?
yep... rice.

I really like these rotors too. I'm very glad I got the zync plating as well, it really makes a difference and the polished look comes out more.

Yeah, time is money.
I waste a lot of both, but they are the same, so I break even. Right?

i used duplicolor high heat ford blue on my mp3 calipers cuz it matched the blue on the tokico struts perfectly, never chipped off.

All right, here are the fronts, just did them now.

AND something very odd. Only today when I was putting in my new front rotors did I notice that my old front rotors, Powerslots, were two of the same side. My friend was holding them up telling me there is no difference between them, and I'm like "no way", but they were. Only then I noticed that both of them had an L and that the right side was never right. I have no idea how I never noticed, I guess I put in the Left side first and never bothered to check that the right side one was correct. Anyway... none of those problems now.

And FYI, the front caliper I took off completely and hung it in my wheel well with a bungee and used spray paint. I preferred doing this much better than brushing it on by hand. I did 4 coats of color and 4 of clear and that took around 3 hours to do.
