tweeter questions

1. Do the tweeters get their power from the headunit or a seperate amp?
2. What's the rating on the tweeters? The only info I found said 60W max but I'm not sure if that's right.
3. Assuming that they are rated at 60W max would a 150W x 2 channel amp be ok to power them? (They aren't loud enough as is.) (sample amp)
4. What are the part numbers for the stock tweeters?

Basically I'm wanting louder highs. I think that the stock tweeters are up to the task, but the headunit isn't sending enough power to them. (I'm fairly new to car audio so any input is appreciated)

You should look into a four channel amp so you can run all the internal speakers. This should give you what you want.

i hear that our stock speakers sound like crap when amped by something other than the head unit. they start to sound very harsh. if you're gonna upgrade to a good amp.. might as well spend the extra $800 and get some DLS iridiums :)
