2024 CX-5 Shocks and Struts - Questions

Hi everyone,

I don't believe this has been answered but I love the 2024 CX-5 GS. I find the ride pretty good but some roads in Edmonton AB Canada are bad.

Do shocks, struts and springs etc break in and get softer after say, 10,000 km and 3 years? Same with tires 😶

The CX-5 was my go to because I love Mazda's push to near luxury with high quality interior and premium features (quietest in class, tons of goodies :) ).

I'm still on a 2-3 yr warranty but couldn't find any aftermarket parts for shocks/struts and springs for the KF gen? Well - not much anyways it's mostly air ride or coilovers. Don't coilovers and stiffer high spring rates make it harsher? Air ride is a no go because if reliability and cost to maintain.
I don't know about coilovers, but lowering is not my to-do list.

Suggestions or things I come across:
Bilstein B6 shocks and struts (sporty but maybe improved ride?)
H&R lowering springs (handle a bit better but stiffer ride?)
Eibach or Tanabe lowering springs?

I want to take it to the next lvl 🔋

Looking for shocks, struts and springs or anything besides tires that will cushion the ride? It's a good ride but I want to refine it without paying Lexus/Audi money.
:) Any suggestions is appreciated. I want a FSD shock with lower spring rate - I believe front/rear is 3k to 6k? Can't find anything lower. I love all the advice I've been provided but looking to enhance my ownership experience 🤠

Otherwise, it's fantastic to own. we've owned 4-5 cars and this is the quietest yet. Drove new 2022 Lexus ES350/300h and 2024 RX350h - they are great to drive. Cushy soft and quiet but I'd say the CX-5 is better than them because I save $20k-30k CAD and get more features. ES doesn't have AWD and both RX and ES are high theft rate. I love Subaru Forester but pricey. CX-5 all the way - refined over 7+ years on KF gen :)

How low are you willing to go? Just got Odulas from Japan. Specs say softer rear spring than stock but approx 40mm down. Didn't install them yet so I can't comment on the ride.

Posted the info here...

Bilstein B6 will probably make it feel stiffer especially on the compression stroke. They are monotube with high pressure.

I second a twintube FSD that can handle a drop spring. Let me know if you find one.

Wow 😯 thx
I don't care for lowering or reducing fender gap. I'll look into those Odulas but never heard 🫨 softer ride? Let me know 😁

I've taken this avenue with other vehicles and gotten nowhere.

I'd do the tires upgrade first. You should see some degree of improvement but don't expect an undiscovered country out of it.
