You reach a red light and a car pulls up next to you... the driver looks at your hot new MP5 and raging with jealousy starts to rev, taunting you to a race... the light turns green and you both go at it... who wins?

Just curious to know which cars have been smoked... please share your success stories and failures.

2001 Civic Si

he got the jump on me at the start but my P5 came through at the end( i just left it in 3rd gear and it was like....seee yaaaa).

stupid kid in his american made car thought he take on my badass mazda.

whether you win by an inch or a mile, winning is winning. - i came up with that line all by myself...LOL

Welcome to our happy little corner of the net. There is a BIG fridge in the corner with just about anything you can think of in it...help yourself...of course only take what you can LEGALLY have. (stash)

make yourself at home on one of the big fluffy couches, kick your shoes off, put your feet up on one of the tables....and take it easy.

oh...btw....every once in a while a food fight breaks out...so you may not want to wear nice clothes here.

2000 Acura Integra GS w/ intake/header/exhaust
1999 Honda Accord Coupe LX manual w/ intake/header/exhaust/tru power pulleys
2000 Civic hatchback with B18B motor
others were forgettable

cars that demolished mp5 :
2002 WRX wagon with intake/exhaust
1995 Supra Twin Turbo (lol..this was so sad)

I've been able to outlaunch everyone I've raced. Regardless. Even against the WRX wagon which has all wheel. It's 80% driver, 20% car or something like that. Like my friend with the vw golf shouldve smoked me. But he didnt. Peace.
 
yeah, i believe all these high 16 low 17 sec cars beating an Si and a chipped Gti 1.8t, you sure the guy wasnt in cruise control?! :rolleyes: lol

wins: Stang 4.6L, WRX, MX6 V6, New Monte Carlo SS, Civic Si's new and old, Sunfire GT, GrandPrix GTP, various V6 cars, umm too many to name, Im always trying to get better races, but its kinda hard temping someone with a wagon

loses: hmmmm

a Del Sol that runs Mid-High 14s :(, when i was running a 50 shot, haha
 
Accura Integra

Both our windows are open and the passenger in the Integra looks at us as the driver starts to rev. I have no intention of racing this idiot so I calmly look ahead...and about 2 secs later the Integra stalls! LOL. My girlfriend and I start to laugh so hard the guy in the passenger seat can't help but laugh as well and we pull away rom the intersection with tears in our eyes.

well,

I've lost to pretty much everything I've raced
but keep in mind I dont have a P5
(my bro has a yello P5)

yeah My Geo doesnt have anything close to the acceleration of the P5, its slower than most Minivans, excursions, explorers.
but It is faster than a stock civic (non vtec) loaded with people, and pretty much any Kia or dawoo

the only legacy my car carries is that it was able to evade the Highschool football team in a highspeed chace, and I have been in a few close calls where I have been able to evade various other pissed off people, drunkards (beer) , cops, what have you (stoned) . but I didnt get away the time when a guy fealt the need to toss a beer bottle at my door (I'll slash the bastards tires if I ever see him again)

I'de mod the piece of crap but it has 190000+ miles and they dont make any decient parts for the engine, but I have put 2 10" subs and 2 12" subs in the trunk with 4 gauge wire to feed my amps

but hey if anyone wants to race bring it on, just keep in mind, that yes I am trying to win, and yes I am flooring it
its just to damn slow :(
 
in most cases street racing is stupid and danerous...but...


this one time i was just sitin there minded my own business when this old lady in a crown vic starts messin with me...so of course i had to show her...ha all she saw were my tail lights...nuff said
 
? lol ok...is that supposed to shoot me down or something? I had about 20 witnesses to the GTI 1.8t kill.....and some at the other ones too..
I mean I understand it's hard to believe..but it's not that absurd. Better driver = winner, esp in somethin like street racing.
But I mean that's fine if you don't wanna believe, I know what I did, and other people do to.
 
i would agree that many times it's the driver that counts not the car...but TECHNICALLY speaking they should've won...if it were two drivers that were exactly the same they the other car would have won...you were just the better driver that time or they weren't racing...but a kill is a kill i suppose...
 
yep our cars are Dizamn slow..
just why its funnier lol

my friend with the golf 1.8t, i burned him 4 times in a row..ive never seen someone so distraught afterwards...i think the laughter from the crowds was unbearable to him..lol
 
HAVE A BIG PROBLEM BELEIVING THIS

man i dont know what crack your on but please take the needle out your arm and pass it over to think that your P5 same car as all of us have has beaten a 1995 toyota twin turbo .. PAAALLLEESSSEEEE i mean lets keep it reall .. i raced a kid in a 1999 Acura itegra Gs with aftermarket headers and full cat back .. also a full CAI .. also he had a CF hood so it was a lot lighter then it was stock .. and I barley beat him and driver to driver .. i bet if i got in his car and he got it mine i would still beat him with his own car and that is because I am an excellent driver ( if I dont say so my self) I have been born and raised on a race trac and I can drive anything with wheels .. so i have driven anything from ford escorts ..to a lamborgini Diablo and i can assure you that the car you raced may have been a hunk of s*** or the driver was completely toasted. I mean my best race that i have ever had was when I raced my 1993 Honda Prelude with a 2.3 DOHC Non v-tech Si edition (h-23a motor) against a 1994 or 5 Honda Del sol with my same motor in it but he had the V-tech and also it was turbo charged with a 75 shot of NOZ and the only reason that i can assume that I beat him is because 1) I know how to take off the line like no other and 2) he punched his NOZ at like 2500 RPMs in 1rst gear and smoked his tires all the way into 4th gear so please tell me alittle bit more abotu this race with a twin turbo supra
