Just installed a Turbosmart BOV on my MS3 yesterday. It dropped right in and it looks and sounds great. It took no more than 5 minutes to install. It's a dual port BOV. You can run it VTA or Recirc or both. Here are some pics I took today.

Nice.. I was considering getting this one..

I assume you are running in Dual mode?

Yup, running dual mode for now. I will eventually go to full recirc.

tru-boost....yeah yeah we know you got the Forge BPV. But where do you get off saying the quality is any better? I know you havent tested this set up out so really how would you know? Turbosmart makes an incredible product and nobody needs you coming on here bashing them. Seems to me like you are just a Forge spokesman at heart....Forge this and Forge that. Negative comments are unwelcome...thanks.

Back on topic..any sound clips? Looks great by the way!

It's all good man. You know what they say. Ignorance is bliss. There is no hate here. It's just his opinion. Doesn't mean much. Thanks for the backup though.
I'll work on the sound clip this weekend. Getting ready for HIN Orlando.

Yes, If you Vent To Atmosphere you get the loud swoosh sound. If you Recirculate you get a not so loud swoosh sound if you have a Cold Air Intake and no sound at all if you have a stock air box. If you run Dual Port you get the best of both worlds, the benefits of recirc and the sound of VTA.

you are right i never tested this valve ....... i knew better !!
vta is stupid on this car, and 50/50 isnt ant better. and if you plan to run it full recirc, you spent too much money. oh and there is a well know issue of these valves not sealing well and actually causing the car to have more turbo lag. i have not heard of issues with them on the ms3, probably because the valves are so damn expensive nobody buys them ! if you like it great i'm happy for you. i do support forge, i tested their products and found them better than both the greddy and hks.

you getting any flutter under low boost with yours? i am getting some, i keep tweaking it, but cant find a happy median.

flutter (compressor surge) is fine under 3k rpms... the only reason you can hear it now is because of the aftermarket bov

i have the same BOV on my setup

great! thanks a lot!
i love the way this thing sounds. much louder than i was thinking. install was simple also. would have been less than 10 minutes if i wouldn't have dropped the damn screws twice.

thanks bud ....

i am happy i went with the turbosmart.

yeah, it was definately pricey, but for what you get, its TOTALLY worth it imo !!!

Hey guys I just installed mine on the MS3. Looks and sounds great, just one thing. I had to move the recirc tube 45 degree to the right so that the tube would align up with the bov. It seems fine and seems to be working except there's a little tiny bit of pushing from my CPE CAI where the recirc tube begins, is anybody else having this?

don't worry about it. won't cause any harm what-so-ever.

hey cash, question for you. i have been running this BOV for a week or so now. after i shift i am getting a small burp from the exhaust. i adjusted the BOV like SU told me, but i still have it. any suggestions? dont think it makes any difference but i do have the MS cat back.

u r just running slightly rich in between shifts still. i normally get this for about the first 2-3 miles everytime i get in the car. after that, it goes away.

the only way to completely get rid of it, is to go 100% recirc.

you'll be fine!
