Turbohoses Shortram Intake

Alrighty....and the results are in!

Install: Pretty easy, just have to piece it together before tightening anything down. Over all 2 out of 5 for difficulty.

Turkey: Still exists, which I don't mind at all. It would go away with a BOV or dual setup, but I just run the Forge BPV.

Looks: Looks awesome, that filter is freaking huge and looks great. The pipe looks great too. The red silicone hoses look awesome too, and the the cuts are pretty much perfect, just needed to do a few wiggles to get things perfect.

Sound: This thing sounds excellent. You can hear the turbo spool up so nice, very nice sound.

Performance: Definate improvement. The car wants to spool up right away. I can't believe the difference. As soon as I am on the gas, this thing spools up and is at max psi and pulling hard.

Overall: Very pleased with the purchase. Fairly easy install and very good results. I would definately recommend this to anyone who is looking to get an intake.

I will have PICs up pretty soon. Ben (boostisfun357) has them all on his camera.

If you have any questions, don't be afraid to PM me.

Thanks,
Ryan

Rawyzf - I think I'm going to hold the pics for ransom. ok kidding. I'll zip'em and email them to you after work today. If you need any help with the install write up let me know.

Pretty nice intake IMO, a quality product all around, deff worth it if you have the $$$. Like Rawyzf said the install went pretty smooth, we had to relocate the rad. overflow tank but that didn't take a rocket scientists to figure out where. I think this install could easily be done by yourself, however 2 people makes it a little easier.

HAHA...ransom. Thanks for the help, I think it went well. Once I have a install doc set up, it will be a little bit easier for those who want it.

Definately worth it in my opinion.

It was closer to $350 with shipping now that I think about it, but still worth it.

I am not impressed wsith the pics...It is nice looking but I think its still almost as long as a CAI...Its just missing the Elbow...I thought the piping would be a lot shorter and locate the filter closer to the turbo....Eghh...I'm not dropping $400 bones on this pipe.
