Im trying to buy a boost controller for my MSP so far i heard Turbo XS High Performance MBC is a good one, Have anyone use this MBC in there MSP? any feedback?

I use their DSBC on both of my boosted cars. Never had one issue or complaint in using them over the years.

i'm not sure which mbc i had on my tsi b/c my buddy gave it to me, but it leaked bad and I took it off. i just ordered a joe p proz mbc. can't wait to get it.

Are you forged? Make sure you read everything about how your engine can blow up by just adding a MBC and upping your boost, and forgetting about EMS. I read your other post about boosting in neutral, so I'm hoping you will take the time to learn about your car instead of slapping a MBC on there and expecting it not to die.

Supporting mods are a must before you up the boost. At least up the exhaust system and the intercooler before buying a MBC. Those are the major choke points on the MSP. Upping the boost on completely or close to near stock greatly increases the chance of blowing your engine. Especially if you're a uninformed new driver trying to boost in neutral.

But if you insist on buying a MBC and upping the boost now, don't go over 10 psi, and that's still dangerous. Also the more expensive your MBC, the better it is. Otherwise, why would it cost so much right?

i agree completely.

hotrocker, i would reccomend that you check out this thread if you haven't already:

on some cars you can just slap a boost controller on and instantly free up alot of power, but unfortunately our cars motors are not really strong enough to safely do that. If you follow the general advice of that thread, however, you can have a decent power in a motor and still be relatively safe from blowing anything up.
