Turbo timer question

OK, turbo timer works to allow car to cool off the oil a bit before shutdown so it doesnt screw up the turbo over time. Seeing as this is a temperature issue, is it possible to somehow connect a turbo timer to a oil temp gauge and set the turbo timer to shut the motor down once the oil temp drops to a preset temperature? That would be ideal I would think, so that if you have only done around the town it shuts down relatively quickly, but after a nice round of canyon carving or other "spirited" driving it would stay lit for a little longer.
Thoughts?

I would say it would be possible, but likely a lot more work & expense than it's worth.

I'd just adjust the timer settings based on your most recent drive. Unless turbo timer technology has regressed by leaps & bounds in the last decade (since I last ran a turbo timer) it should be relatively quick & simple to adjust the timer. Took me all of about 5 seconds to adjust the timer on my mid-90's HKS unit.

This car doesn't even really need a turbo timer let alone a fancy one at that.

I don't know all of the details, just read a little about it when I was looking at TT's, but... there are models that kind of do what you're saying and base the run time on your driving style.
