Last night and tonight I made more progress. I re-tapped the stripped manifold stud hole in the head. Let's see how that holds...

I also installed my MAM Thermostat Housing. Pictures below.

Lots of Updates tonight.

When I went to put the manifold, turbo, and downpipe in it wouldn't fit. So I had to take off the downpipe. So I mount the manifold and downpipe, and find that the wastegate was hitting the engine. So I was reminded that I needed a spacer for the wastegate bracket, and that I needed to shorten the actuator rod all the way. I went to Home Depot, got longer bolts(5/16 coarse thread) and about 20 washers. A little over $2. Worked like a charm:

Fans..

While looking for a 12 inch fan for the radiator, JDM Sam informed me that the SPAL 12 inch fans were on backorder til October. So Sam started looking for local dealers who may have them in stock. We ran across a place called "Old Air/Cold Air" I called them, and they don't sell SPAL anymore. They did have a brand of fan I had never heard of called Maradyne. I researched, and found that the 12 inch Champion Series fans they were talking about have about the same current draw of around 7.4 amps of the SPAL I was seeking, and outputs 1155 CFM, while the SPAL I was going to get pushes 950 CFM. The kicker is that it costs $62, while the SPAL costs $95. Further research revealed that the SPAL is 2.05 inches thick while the Maradyne is 2.48 inches thick. The price was so cheap, I got two. Here are the fans I have:

Nice Pat! Wish I could have been a part of this since I'll be helping with something somewhat similar.

Here's the clearance of my radiator hose, thermostat housing, and the 3 -inch downpip

....Maybe I should trim a little of each end away to get even more clearance?

I may have to sell one of my 12 inch fans due to clearance issues. Before I try to take it back, does anyone local want it? $62.

Today's update...

My birthday update is the following:

I got all the piping hooked up, but need a 1 1/2 inch coupler to put on my HKS Blow off valve, since I don't have a pipe with the HKS flange welded on it anymore. I got both fans installed, and wired up. I had to use the 10 inch SPAL fan on the passenger side as a pusher. The other 12 inch fan is up for sale.

I have been running the Haltech E6X for almost 2 years. I am looking for 300 WHP at around 16 PSI on the 460 CC injectors I have in now.

Ready for STARTUP!!!

I have the car back together again, and am ready to start it up. All fluids are in, and it's off the jackstands. I will start it up tomorrow.
