Hey guys
I posted about a month ago asking your opinion on a Porsche i was looking at. The General opinion was to not get it. Well, i ran the VIN number on it and it had 159,000 miles on it when the dash read 59k. So i didn't buy the car. Now i have 2,000 in cash and i want to keep my P5. How likly is it that i could turbo my car for 2k or less. I have a buddy that can install everything to labor isn't an issue. I'm just not sure if i could find a kit under 2 grand, and if it would even be a good idea on the stock P5 engine. I could use some advice if any one has any. Thanks -B

u should be good if you know what your doing when installing it. id jump on matthews kit, hes selling it for $2,300 shipped.
hes had it on his car for a while and had no problems with the kit itself. hes got the cheapest kit for sale right now, so id hurry and buy it before someone else does.

You will be ok as long as you dont dog the s*** out of the engine, get a voltage clamp, and get an fpr and fuel pump. Should be good for 8psi.

Def turbo the p5. As people have mentioned Matthew..is selling his turbo kit. He was runin 8psi..for a couple of months.

I am running 10psi..on stock internals.

I thiink i'm going to. But i may wait a couple weeks so i can get everything i need at one time, and have it all put on befor ei go back to school.

u better buy matthews kit before he sells it. unless u want to pay $3000+ for a kit. jump on matthews fool! seriously, or your gonna regret it.
