Woah. Definitely don't start it again without oil. This will just cause more damage.

im just getting myself prepared for what im going to spend on this car.. im kinda considering just parting it out.. this car has been so much troubles for me.. but i keep thinking ive fixed almost everything on this car.. soon itll be perfect.. lol jokes on me..

What happened to your car? Is there a hole in the block? Have you filled it with oil and started it?

i havent done anything with the car yet.. im trying to get my car into my garage so i can work on it.. but its at my parents house.. and my father told me "if its leaking oil, you will not add more oil on my driveway.." lol

Then tow it. You definitely shouldn't drive it, a small issue could turn large if you do

plus you just bought my intercooler!! I wanted to see installed pics eventually..lol. If they don't want oil in the driveway, put down a few drain pans, dry sweep, cardboard or something if you aren't going to tow it. A quick visual inspection on the block itself will tell you if it did blow. Put oil in it, put something underneath as I just listed, get someone to start the car while you look all over the bay, front, back, and especially underneath with a flashlight ready. That way as soon as you see the leak, you can yell at the other person to turn the car off

hahahaha i wasnt sure if you remembered me. lol but its crazy because my friend and i were like okay next friday we are going to put on your intercooler. and i drove away and not 10 minutes later i am sitting on the side of the road. haha =(
but okay tomorrow i will do all what you said. i just moved out so i am trying to stay away from my parents house but i cant have a non running car at my place.. im starting to think this will be to hard to do myself and just take it to a shop... ive never worked on my engine like this... =/ any idea how long itll take IF it is a rod through the block?

two options. rebuild, which has the longest turnaround. But you will have a solid engine. Or find a used FS and swap it out..weekend turnaround depending on mechanical ability and/or shop experience. Only thing is if you don't find a MSP FS, you will have to tap your MBSP for the turbo oil return unless you swap the MSP plate over while both engines are out.

Bro if u threw a rod u would know.. when u started it it would A not turn over or B misfire like a mofo.. im thinkin ur turbo oil return line broke n tjat lead to oil on j pipe and that lead to the underhood fire

okay, so i went home and looked everywhere i could at my engine... no large holes that i saw.. so i threw some oil in it and started it up and like two seconds after starting it i get oil leaking from what looks like 2 spots.. one was like the back of the engine (near the windshield) it looked like it was coming from the manifold.. also there was one coming from near the turbo.. i have no clue where as it look like it was all over everything and dripping from everywhere... also even with oil in the engine my car still sounded horrible... im about to take it to a shop and just have someone else do this for me.. =/

Well gee sounding horrible sums it up. Can you be a bit more descriptive there? Knocking? Missing? Unsteady idle?

It is possible for there to be a hole in the back of the block, but honestly if you can't even figure out where a visible leak is then I would take it to a shop

i figure if it is a hole like you guys have described the oil would poor out.. the oil had a small steady stream and then dripped the whole time.. its not really like it dumped out like a big hole would.. and as for the noise.. its more of a knocking sound than anything else..

You may have blown the HG so bad it is spewing oil but I am expecting the worst. You have got to give a definite answer if there is a hole in the block or not
