tripoint turbo anyone?

Anyone have a Tripoint Engineering Turbo Kit? Does it really give 210+ hp and 200 ft/lbs torque? Thinking of getting one. they say they are redesigning it though. What else should I be looking at replacing if I go with this turbo? Thnxs

someone here has it, he has a 16g instead of an aerodyne turbo.

how do you like your kit? I just want to find a turbo that will give me the most hp gains, probably like everyone else under the sun. any suggestions? Have you heard anything about this kit?

You know I'd buy the kit with out the AIC or piping and go with the HiBoost haltech or perfs piggy

i dont think they even manufacture the kit anymore. response and sales of it were fairly lackluster when it hit the market a few years ago (yes it has actually been THAT long). there are better options out there now. plus, i think the kit was one of the more expensive ones of the bunch.

Yeah, sales sucked off the bat, mostly because just as the kit came out Aerodyne closed it's doors for good, again...

So, there are better options. Flyin' Protege, Spoolin', HiBoost and Modern Performance are some that I have heard of on here.

flyin protege and spool arent the highest horsepower kits, but they are by far the most tested and proven ones with upgrades along the way;

maybe HiBoost running 14psi but thats alot of work also

I like the staged pattern and upgradable options on spool kits, plus you cant argue with the quality.
