It breaks my heart to see one of the nicest P5s on the boards plowed into a tree...I'm so sorry, but glad that you're okay! Everybody drive carefully out there!

If the insurance doesn't already have the car (maybe it's in a wreckyard right now?) you can always have it towed back to your place and swap back the stock parts...that's what I did when my Tbird got totaled, but I still had all the stock parts.

Man, that sucks but glad to hear you are OK. I have State Farm and they were very cool with me getting into my car after the accident and taking out my stereo stuff, and for refunding me for any loss on the stuff.

If you do need some stock parts, I have some stuff that I could sell you real cheap.

When mine was totaled, they let me swap out whatever I wanted.
I just didnt have time to take everything off... (Couldn't get OBX headers, and Brakes out in time).

I did get the springs, XM stuff, gauges, exhaust, and the rest of the interior mods.

Good luck, hopefully it's not totaled.

PS: I'd be interested in those broken headlights, let me know.

dude that sucks, but thankfully the damage doesnt look too bad...it looks like the impact beam (the beam in front of the radiatory, with styrofoam on it) too most of the damage....id say if your radiator doesnt have any leaks in it from that impact that the damage wont be totalled (very vague statement, but just saying)

from what I can see in the pictures it looks like the impact beam, bumper, and hood need to be replaced, otherwise I dont think there will be any damage to the frame, or at least not enough to cause any terminal effects on the way the car drives

when I got rear ended the impact beam snapped in half like yours....otherwise they had to straighten out the ends of the frame that the beam bolted to, but that was not that much work....total was $3500 for mine, but the shop I went through charged the lady who rear ended me's insurance company for a shitload of work they didnt do (like replace and repaint the rear bumper cover....grrr)....Id say yours will be between 3-5 grand of damage total, the insurance company isnt likely to total it in that case (thumb)

As the middle car perspective, it was really a chain with almost unavoidable consequences.

When the Miata spun, it was blocking almost the entire road. I was able to get off the ice and stop just shy of hitting the stopped the Miata but Seattle would have had to start on the brakes at the top of the ice.

He wouldn't have even been able to get over to the clean road where I was once he started sliding. If he had, there was only room for one car if you know what I mean.

Really a pretty crappy situation overrall and as is everybody else, I'm glad that we are all ok.

We did get to eat a nice late-breakfast though.
