Do you read?

Non abs protgs have a speed sensor in the trans

Abs protgs (including the msp) use the abs sensors to calculate speed

The only time this will matter is if you have a non abs protege and are using an abs trans. This has nothing to do with the msp because they all had abs

Sorry for thread jacking but my p5 was made March 02. Does it have the trans sensor or bad sensor. I don't think I have abs but I want to be positive

If it has ABS it runs off the wheel speed sensors, if not it has a speedo sensor on the trans.
