Im about to finish my build on my MSP and wanted to know if my transmission is going to hold up to the power/torque.
I bored the engine.
Resurfaced the head, crank, and block.
Forged rods and pistons
ARP Bolts for everything
Intake manifold
FMI
Pope Exhaust Manifold
Stage 3 Racing Clutch
Corksport Exhaust

My question. Is that stock transmission going to hold?
I would hate to get this thing finished and then have to take it back apart.
I have no idea how much HP I might have or how much boost.
If anyone has an answer please let me know. I have heard there is no such thing as a performance transmission for the car. I have heard of cryogenics.
Would Cryogenics be worth looking into?

It all depends on how much power you are making and how you drive the car. Anything over ~300hp is going to start shredding gears. You can get a trans brace, they are supposed to keep the case and gear sets from flexing under load which is what kills the transmissions. You can get cryo treated or straight-cut gears but they are very expensive, same with the M Factory gear set.
