Just found this after searching for a while, luckily I think my problem is a lot simpler but I just wanted to get all the possibilities down,
-so anyways last weekend after me and my friend installed the PG IM, we went to go take a ride, (a while ago I had taken the break line off the caliper because I was going to take them off to paint them, but decided to just paint them while they were on the car), and last week I tried to bleed the breaks, but it got dark and on the last caliper I thought that I could see the fluid was still full in the reservoir, just couldn't see it well because it was now clear/clean and thought it was just a little air in the line, but anyways it ended up getting air in it.. so point is we drove it around, the breaks were ok, but caught about 1/2 way down (I know not really safe but they were OK, and I just drove around shortly and slowly to grab some food) and my dad (who was actually driving the car) said that he noticed that it was hard to shift into 1st gear mostly, and a little bit on the other gears... I wasn't sure what it was, but tomorrow I plan on bleeding the breaks again..
my question is once I bleed the breaks again so they are all good and set.. should this fix my problem with the shifting too, it was fine before I screwed up the break bleeding... oh also when I had put in the PG IM, I had used my old car's full break booster line and then added it before my vac distribution block, than used my old/cut BB line (w/check valve in it) connecting to the BB cylinder.. so it was double valved, I since then cut that extra valve out but didn't start the car because I was still in the middle of installing the AFC and a bunch of gauges/EBC..and stuff.. so any suggestions or predictions for this? I just need to get it figured out before sat's OCC meet, hopefully
