Traded SRT-4 for Metro Gray MS3

The SRT-4 is a great car quick reliable, and responded well to mods but I wanted a car with some more features. The MS3 is so much more refined than the SRT, I don't think I will be missing it too much.

I never had a problem with my srt4 and had some fun with it(daily driver for 44k miles) but since I have gotten my ms3 I have pretty much forgotten my srt.

Do you feel any difference in power? I never drove a SRT4.
Is braking very different? I have a co-worker who owns a SRT4 and he wants me race him. I will wait for better weather.

I'm also a convert and the SRT's power delivery feels way different than the ms3. this has been covered in many a thread, so search.

Power does come on different than the SRT but I haven't broken her in yet to do a real test.

Thank you! My choice was get a black gt or a metro gray sport obviously got the sport and I am glad I did even though I would like some features of the GT.

i have to say i loved my srt-4 till the problems started.... water leaks and tranny problems.
i dont miss it though.

Just traded my 05 Ti Gray Mazda 3 in on a Metro Gray MS3 GT today.

I sold my 04 SRT-4 about 6 months ago, bought my wife a CX-7, and this past weekend I picked up a metropolitan gray Speed3. I love this car much more than my SRT (and I really enjoyed my SRT, had it for about 3.5 years prior to this). The Speed3 is MUCH more refined than the SRT was, though both are great cars.

Im also a former SRT-4 owner who switched to a red 2007 Mazdaspeed 3. I am very happy with my decision to switch based on the issues I had with the SRT-4. Also the handling in the MS3 is far superior the the SRT-4 and a quick test drive sold me on the Mazdaspeed 3.
