Now with the $130 Turbo XS boost controller, the SRT dynoed at 265hp and 295ft lbs @17 psi.
What happens to the MSP motor at 17-18 PSI w/o more cash for motor upgrades....?

Well at least you will have a car that goes well with Nazkar, Ka-oors lite, and
them pork rinds. You can beat the cops back your trailer now after another wife beating episode at the local Goat stumpers club well provided the road doesnt take too many extreme turns along the way.
Dodge engineer answers a pissed of SRTurd-4 owner What you wanted it to turn to!
Dont worry about those turns son just think how cool youll look drifting into a tree.
Then a little black MSP drives by this turd-impaled tree with a quick double tap to his horn BEEP BEEP; like the roadrunner to Wylie E. Coyote. Of course then we have to have the cop at the seen look a the camera and go in perfect piganese Dadubada Dubada Thats all Folks.
Hey I love my car and don't have single problem but if I did maybe I would feel differently. Good luck with the ,"Why is there corn in my seat?" mobile.![]()
I am curious as I am still learning about the MSP motor, but it doesn't seem to me that the stock block will take 17psi, even with proper fuel tuning....at least not for long. Wouldn't you be running on the edge constantly?Dexter said:
with proper fuel tuning...nothing will happen.

Yes- that was the wrong question to ask.. You can get your 3" exhaust done at a local shop for $500 us (you don't NEED a pretty stainless mandrel bent exhaust for only 220 whp), add a drop in K&N ($40) and an MBC ($45) and you have your 220 whp. xsivspd did mid 220's@~10 psi and turbomattyp did 217@9 psi with a stock exhaust- that is a $45 MBC, K&N and a boost gauge- about $150 in parts for 217 whp.

How safe is that on the stock internals:

- clutch / LSD
- I/C
