Touchscreen option not shown on Mazda CX-5 2025 Saudi Arabia

I bought a Mazda CX-5 2025 in Saudi Arabia. I tried to find the touchscreen option while using CarPlay but it does not appear.

Is there a way to update the framework? Or how to add this option?

The touchscreen is disabled when you are operating the car, I don't think there is any option to enable it.

I have the exact same situation (KSA too, even when the car is not in driving mode), tried everything but the option is not there...

Finally, I contacted the dealer and he said that the option is disabled in my firmware version by Mazda itself!

Hopefully they will re-enable it again in future updates...

In the US the screen isn't touch unless you are stopped or using CarPlay or AA. I personally don't use the touchscreen in my CX50 Hybrid or my 19 CX5. In fact the 19 CX5 came down with a bad case of the ghost touch so I just pulled the unit and disconnected the ribbon cable that supports the touch screen. I always just use the jog wheel.

A software update will not fix this. Your current firmware version (11004) already fully supports touchscreen functionality. The issue is your physical hardware.

The Details:

• Missing Hardware: In the Middle East market, Mazda installs a 10.25-inch display in CX-5 2025 that physically lacks the touch digitizer layer on many trims (likely part number KGC2-61-1J0).
• Hidden Menu: Because your car's main computer (CMU) detects that the monitor has no touch capabilities, it completely hides the "Touchscreen" settings from your connectivity menus.
• The Only Solution (not confirmed): The only way to add this option is to physically buy and replace the display monitor from a top-trim/North American model (part KDPW-61-1J0 or K19G-61-1J0) and swap it into your dashboard, then somehow to enable it with FORScan, because even with a hardware support that has to be enabled in CMU.
