it's only 117.5 mph.

I wonder if it's only a top-gear governor, like the Suzuki Hayabusa. We might actually be able to squeak more speed from 4th gear.

More or less, yeah, it is. Electronic Throttle body, electro-hydraulic steering, manumatic trans (for those who didn't get the manual).

I'm sure new chips will be out soon. I hope. (nervous)

I don't know about drive-by-wire systems but if they keep track of where you're goin' that's gonna be so uneasy with your every movement on your car.

It doesn't keep track of where you're going but it can track how much throttle usage you're using, because the throttle goes to a computer.

If that's the case, would this be a good thing or not. I think I've seen one on Discovery Channel but haven't paid much attention to it. That was way back.

its 188km/h for canada... I test drive the manual, i found it SLOW (2.3L 160 hp sport). For 160 hp, its really slow... mazda should release dyno stats and not the power at the flywheel...

Since 1972, published HP figures are taken at the rear of the transmission with all accessories running.

The numbers the manufacturers claim is at the flywheel, not the wheels normally.
