Top speed of the MSP

Just cuz I'm a risk taker sometimes I topped out my Mazdaspeed cuz I was curious. With one other person in the car I got it up to 137 MPH. When I hit 136 the engine started to shut down. Probably just the ECU cutting the fuel. Anyone else had this same experience. My friend didn't believe I could crest 130. Ha ha I showed him. I would suggest on not doing this cuz it's super dangerous. I inspected my car before running i.e. tire psi, lights, temp, coolant, oil. Plus it's very illegal and how in the hell do you explain 137 mph to a cop let alone a judge when your ass is in court. The car feels very smooth over 130 surprisingly. In addition it didn't take very long to get up there. And this was with a fat chick in the car. I wasn't scared the whole time. Cuz she is just a friend. Anyways, that's how fast these go so need to try just use me as an example. But I would love to hear similar stories.

I had mine up to 220...........km/h that is, not sure what that is in mph, that would suck in court though....you are charged with going 220 in a 100 zone how do you plead? ******!

137 is all you can do.
trust me I've been there lots, and lots of times.

the car may feel stable at that speed, but trust me,it's not.

I slid mine across 3 lanes of highway

And that's why.

relax the highway was empty, and had six lanes.
I may have been sliding, but it was controlled.

if any car was going to be wrecked it would have only been my own.

That is if they can catch up with you! lol Here in QC they quit chasing once they reach 160 km/h (and even before). A lawyer even said that if they start chasing you, just go up to 200 km/h!! (on the freeway of course)

How did you do that? How sharp was the turn?

I would imagine that they would at least get your tag number before letting you go. (shrug)
