Everyone says that it's a love hate relationship between owners and their MSP's. I think the real love hate relationship is between the owners girlfriends and their MSP's. I bought the car from her brother and have put about 1/2 the amount I paid for the car into it already. She hates my car because I'm always working on it and dumping money into it but loves being seen in it.

Eh, seems like it. Maybe it's just our roads around here. Not really sure. My front end seems like it's falling apart like crazy. "thunk, thud, clunk, ting" around almost every turn and when I stop, and when I back up. Something's not right.
I had the link pins put in on the front about 8 months ago and my personal mechanic told me that the shop i had do it didn't grease 'em. Bastards. Hoping that that's the issue and that they'll replace them (and grease them) for free.

My car had been in storage for the 2 years before I bought it. The guy I bought it from didn't drive it much. I guess it won first place at the Bedford High School car show about 4 years ago.
And the guy before him beat the piss out of it.

haha! hillarious! i have NO idea who you are lol. but ya most people beat the CRAP out of nice cars 
but an older guy owned mine, so that was kinda cool. it was well maintained and he just drove it back and forth to work. (i think it was his mid-life crisis car lol)

Oh and a little story about last night. I took the girlfriend to Jing Chuan for dinner last night and when we were leaving it was pouring. I ran through a couple lakes to get to my car and then drove really slow up to the door to pick her up. You guys know how bad Secor floods, right? Well I was so afraid of sucking water into my intake that I drove about 7mph the entire way back to Temperance. People were getting pissed, my girlfriend was calling me "Father Time", and I didn't care. I was not taking any chances of pulling water up into the CAI. I am actually considering making it into a SRI just for the reason that our streets flood so damn much when it rains like it did last night.

i <3 jing chuan lol, there mooshoo and mongolian stars are DELICIOUS! i was gonna ask you if you had an intake hotch, what kind is it? how does yours sit? is it like or is the injen that angles the filter upwards (so its farther away from the water)? or is it like the aem that sits down low on the (stock factory) splash shield/gaurd thing, if you have one! (well at least for the mazda 3, thats how those brands sit lol)

I love jing chaun...Im a general tso and crab rangoon kind O guy though...went there on my bday in June....good stuff. I used to live out that way and went there a lot more...now I hit up yum yum's on central (they deliver too) by the meijer out there beside lowes.
