To speed3 or not to speed3

Well im in a conundrum. My wife already has a 05 3 sedan. Im seriously wanting the Speed3 but I need a little variety in my life. If I trade in my P5 and get the Speed3 will I be happy?

Dude, just wait till you can test drive it. I am sure once you drive it, you'll have taht question answered already. Also, think about what you reall want in a car (like, for me I like moonroofs and a tight ride)

I think EVERYONE on forums is going to ask this question when these come out. It's pretty much an SRT4/MSP mix, the best of both worlds, except 6speeds in a hatchback version. I think it will be an AMAZING ride.

a MS3 will be all the variety you need.

Everyone has a mustang, not so many with mustang GTs... but why go to the first cheap big power producer you can get? Mustangs are cool if you're into them, but in Vegas you see 3-5 mustangs at every light. May be a bit of an exaggeration, but you see mustangs more than any other car for the most part. And not all of them are white trash either LOL.

Sorry i hate dime a dozens. And mustake is one of those.
Its more the variety of interiors that im concerned about. Looking at the same instrument panel ( or at least very similar) no matter which car i drive is the concern. ANd as for the handling and overall feel im already in love with it. Ive driven Mazdas for years, 89, 92, 98,02 so Im in love with their feel. SO i have no worrys that the Speed 3 will be any diferent. Just wish it was as light as my P5 that would make it totally chuckable.

my opinion, would be to get it. i have a family that is expanding and i or shall i say we have a 02 p5 and a 06 4runner. and i was looking into selling my p5 and the 2 turbo setups i have to get the speed3 but i really don't like buying the first run of cars but mazda's recall rep is pretty good standing. NOW if they were to make a MAZDASPEED 6 "WAGON" I'D BE ALL ON THAT...don't get me wrong the CX7 is nice but to high (height wise) for me. BUT "opinions" are like buttholes we all have one.... LOL..

Sorry no offense meant. I was just replying to someone elses post. I actually like the Mustang. I just dont like cars that are all too common. Its way diffeerent here where i live. Everyone that has a stang thinks theyre badass. Thats why i feel so strongly. Please accept my appologies. As long as you like the car then its coll with me.

I don't know about where you live, but I see Mazda 3's all over. I don't like having the same car that everyone else has either but I'm not going to not get a car because of it.

So i sent out an APB to the dealers round the Bay Area. I have an internet sales gal that ive worked with before, she offered to do below msrp. We'll see how that pans out. Most dealers round here have 10 or so coming in on order. That means an initial batch of 40 buyable Speeds in this area. Dang if only my credit union could do 100 over invoice again that would be great. And yes there are quite a few 3 sedans around. Wagons way less. Still they make up 3% of the cars on the road, the other 50% is hondas.

Numbers sound good, but see the car in three dimensions and take it for a spin, then decide.

i have this same problem....

but, i'm going to have well over 25k on the odo by the time a 'speed3 comes out
that's gonna **** me in the ass on trade-in value
i'm *just* keeping ahead of depreciation with my payments (between kbb and nada, my car is worth anything between 14,800 and 21,000, with 18k on it right now, and i still owe just over 15k)

i dunno if it makes financial sense to trade in at this time, due to the 25k+ cost o.t.d. and the mileage raping i'm gonna get, or to hiboost it
