To sell or not to...

I'm with the poster who asked about a company car. 4K a month (not all of which is for the company?) and they want to give you the PRIVELEGE of spending your hard earned to drive a car that they should be GIVING you. Sorry for the use of capitals there, it just seems like a rather crass attempt by MB to cash in on an employee. How could you trade the car in, lease or not, every two months and come out ahead?
 
The discount on the lease of the Mercedes is probably as much as a typical car would cost a company to lease. For example, say the discount is worth $199/month. That's easily as much as it would cost a company per car to lease a fleet of Ford Fusions or Chevy Malibus.

Correction, she told me it's a tad under 2,000 miles/month.
 
That is still an awful lot of miles, especially if those miles are mostly for the company and going onto your personal vehicle. Not saying I wouldn't like a cheap lease on a new MB, but I would be lobbying HARD for a company car. Of course they could end up giving her a fleet service Malibu, or a Spark LOL law of unintended consequences....
