Well i finally rotated my tires yesterday, and noticed that one of the tires has a strange line in the iner tire, well i brought it to Fire stone, and they told me that it would cost me, about $320(boom04) to change two tires. I don't have that much money. How long do you guys think my two tires would last. Because i have about a month to save up for new tires.

Well the two bad tires are on my rear, and my front tires are still good. Would that help the tires last longer since there in the back

Is this the 1st time you rotated your tires? How many miles did you put on them before you did it?

OMG! Of course you have a problem...you are supposed to rotate them every 5k miles. From what I've heard, these tires can sometimes only last 20k miles because they're aggressive summer tires & the tread rating is like 140. If you go really easy on them, they might last another month...if the wire is showing, then I wouldn't chance it.

How many miles do you drive a month? Do you drive on the interstates?

As for rotating the tires I do it about every 7k miles (was going to do it today but the tires are stick on the rotors from rust i guess....) but i'm wishing i had done them at 5k.

Yeah, I'm at 21K, and roatated every 5K - just now I'm starting to have torque steer issues that I think can be attributed to at least one of my tires...I was told I had a 'radial pull'....whatever, next trip to the dealer (I've got a cool dealership, which never hurts), they can check everything out...

If they're on the rear it's a lot better, call some tire shops and see if they have anything used in 215/45/17, that will atleast cover you for a month, maybe more.
