Tired of my MSP

if the dealership, mazda, and mazdaspeed tech don't know what it is, i'm sure it's more than just "the regular turbo noise lololol agghagha" you guys are talking about.

if it were normal, the tech would have just been like "uh, it's normal. go home."

my thoughts on that issue :P
 
Whoa guys!!! Don't get me wrong, I love the car. I waited forever for it. I love Mazdas. I understand that this is a turbo car. The whistle coming from the turbo is not normal. My local dealership said it sounded bad, but they didn't know what was causing the noise. They attempted to call Mazda about the problem, but the mazdaspeed tech quit. So now I have to take the car to the next closest dealership 30 min. away. I don't mind the drive it's just a hassle.
I'm just pissed that I lost money when trading in my P5 and my payments went up a little on a car that I am losing faith in (only my car, not all msps).
Can I take the car back to the dealership and complain about the problems and possibly get out of the contract?
 
Take the actual TSB in for the flash. All dealerships have it at this point, if they don't stand there and call MNAO with them to settle it. Just look for turboge's post with the TSB# for the flash and write down the TSB code. There is no discussion with the service dept. about "what flash" if you are holding the actual TSB# in your hand.

As for your rear bumper thing won't some double sided tape on a very clean surface solve that? I wouldn't even bother with the dealer to fix that considering they sound like numbskulls.

but due to the "COC"'s shitass resale value i'm forced to keep the thing and keep making double payments till i can pay it down a considerable amount so i don't end up neeing the industrial size barrel of KY come trade in time

Stupid is as stupid does!! Nothing like throwing good money after bad. Your logic is as stupid as you are!! Nothing like paying on interest just so you can fool yourself down the road thinking you're not getting reamed as hard!!

Ok with the shaking at 70MPH, Chances are they did not PDI (pre-Deliever Inspection) right, Every MazdaSpeed has to be aligned at certain specs. Most shops dont have the machine to do it so they dont do it. My dealership does not have one but we send them down the road to be set right.

With the body kit falling off, basically its double sided sticky tape some were put on sloppy and Ive done about 2-3 on our lot and have not had problems since or customers complaining.

Also they were talking about reprogramming the PCM or something, My dealership just recieved a bulletin on "reflashing" it, its about a 30min-1hr job, all you have to do is know how to work a mazda computer so if your dealership is saying they dont have a mazda tech they are full of it, there is always a mazda speed tech, its a proto with a turbo no difference really, no if you want to talk rotary, different story.

See your Mazda Dealer and offer to leave the car for a day but make sure you tell them you want everything done.
 
i think the whine may be something another member was experiencing with his girlfriends msp (he owned a rx7). it wasnt the normal turbo whine, so maybe it isnt what you all think is normal turbo whine.
