Tire Weight

hello, i have had my speed 3 for 1 month now and am enjoying it throughly. the only thing i have doen is the factory intake at time of purchase. now its time to change the wheels. i have decided to go with the 17 s off of a 2006 miata. so my question is if anyone knows of a site where i can get weights of tires for 225/40/17 or 235/40/17 or in general what tires are the good for thoses sizes but not heavy.

any input would be greatly appreciated.

look at the spec page on www.tirerack.com it has the wieghts listed by size just gotta dig a bit to find it... i found the kumho ecsta mx was the best light weight performance tire when i went through it...

Both those tire sizes are too small in diameter. You need to use a 225/50/17 or a 235/45/17 to be close to the stock diameter.
