tire recommendations for 18s

anyone who has 18" wheels on their cx-5, which brand/size tires did you end up doing also price range for your tires. I have gen2 ms3 wheels but need something thicker walled then doing low profile tires

Don't have a good recommendation, but I can tell you to stay away from Continental DWS. The sidewall is just too soft. It may be a good tire for lower profile applications, but with tall profile that you will need to run for this car with 18s, takes too much away from the little nimbleness we have already.

appreciate the advice. from the research i've done looks like i'll be doing either 225/55 or 235/55 just not sure which just yet. probably ask the pros at the shop which would be better for me

I went with 235/55 for mine. Just go with 225. It will look and feel the same as 235 and save you some money.

actually went w 235/55. looks a lot better then the 225 imo and price wise was around the same
