Tint Legal Limits

Does anybody know the legal limits for tinting? Somebody told me that in KY it is front: 30%, back: 20% and rear: limo tint.

Anybody have any idea?

What do most of you have on your cars? I was lookin' at getting 30%.

I know most of my friends around here have at least 30% and some I know get 20%. From what I understand no one ever gets cited for that kind of thing

over here it's 35%, but I've got 15% and I haven't had any problems. However, now that I've posted this.....

Also if it is that way from the factory they can not do anything. So sometimes with newer cars they don't bother unless it is really really dark.

Thanks! Im glad I don't live in a state that doesn't allow it or simply allows 50%.

It's 30%, 20%, and 5% in the rear only. But they give you a few percentage points as margin of error. Hence, I've got 28% and 18%, I'm not legal, but it's not illegal either.
