Does anyone know of a way to adjust the timing on the p5?
I wanna advance the timing a couple degrees, but have not found a way to do so safely. Unlike dizzy-style ignition where you can turn it, CKP styles are not...
How can we?

only ways i can think of would be A) adjustable cam gears B) piggy back controller C) redo the timing belt.

MP3 computer, or a standalone, ignition timing is fixed by the stock ECU.The MP3 had ignition advance built in, but you need 91 octane or more to get that advance or the knock sensor will retard it like the P5 ECU to keep from detonation.Timing belt tooth to tooth are too many degrees and would be for cam timing not ignition timing, but camgears do work, I'd put the adj. gear on the intake cam only.
