The Thunder sucks because its a Chinese piece of s*** like the OBX. Braces won't help when its made with low quality, thin tubing.
And how much boost you run, doesn't affect the stress on the manifold....
I probably just volunteered for the guillotine here but I will say it anyway...
The Thunder mani is like any other part, aftermarket or OEM. It was designed with a specific purpose in mind. This as a stock replacement to provide better flow. It wasn't designed for more than 10-12 psi. It wasn't meant to be beat on at the track. I learned that early with Jeff at Tripoint. He tried running one but the bottom line is it just wasn't designed for that purpose.
I have even had some V1s rewelded more than once, at my own cost, to the point where it nearly put me out of business.
There will always be people who have multiple problems with a product, and Packerfan has a right to vent his frustration just like anyone else.
Hell, I'm not even here to try and contradict him.
I just want everyone to know that problems like his are not common and as long as the manifold is used and cared for within the parameters of the design I will be here to
assist with any issues.

he is correct... thin tubing in result is failure.. i sold my thunder as soon as i got it a few years ago..
Did I buy mine from you in the parking lot of a diner somewhere on Jerzy? Dont quite remember.
ive never heard of a steedspeed cracking. how do you figure the stocker is best? theres a million cracked stockers...
Ok didnt create this to bash other manifolds I can only speak of what I have experienced.
On a different note just bought tickets to Montreal for Formula One in June towing my two Buells behind the Protege.
Hey Focus you need to let me know about some good roads up their for the bikes and the Protege.
Idk what to get now between thunder, steedspeed, or just keep my hiboost
