Throttle Response

Okay, 2003 Pro5, Weapon-R Secret Weapon intake, ram-air, VTCS removed, MAF blasted clean. How the hell can I get better throttle response? Besides a single runner intake mani and headers, what can I do? Clean something, take something off, buggy whip my granny, what?

also consider lightened pulleys and lightened flywheel

Definitely NO to the single runner Intake manifold..That will lower your low end torque..Why not put in a header???...That's your best bet...

IIRC doesnt the mp3 ecu run more timing than any other protege? maybe a mp3 ecu swap?

+2 for headers! I only have a AWR front MM, Simtoa CAI, and thunder header installed on my car so far. The thunder header was by far the best mod that I have installed even with stock exhuast from header back.

Hell the coil pack mod is a good idea as well as most report more "responce" from that alone.

Nah, i feel the order is good like it is, That is in regards to what helps increase engine responce and feel.
