Throttle Response Fix? Will this work for our Proteges?

A lot of us complain about the lag in throttle response, so I was just wondering if this guy's theory applies to our cars. Does our manifold need this grounding wire?

Unless I am on crack I think we have a cable throttle unlike the electric trottle of the 6. maybe, not sure here.

Yeah, PatrickP5, I know about the Ground Wire "Kits", I'm just wondering if perhaps all we need is this "one" 10 guage wire from the throttle body to the negative terminal to make all the difference.
I don't know whether our cars are cable or electric throttle.

Our cars don't have "drive by wire" throttle. So, no.
