Thinking of turbocharging your P5? Here's a guide for getting started...

interesting i'm gonna have to open the hood and study this. I guess my kit is not complete. Thanks as usual.

Adaptor plate size

What size oil filter adaptor plate will fit the FSDE? I ask because there are ones that fit the RX 7 and RX 8 and ones that fit the Mazda 6, and i heard that the oil filters of the protege and M6 are the same.

couldn't answer the exact size you need...but as for the mazda 6 filter being the same I doubt that, I believe you have that confused with the mazda 626, which used the same 2.0L FS engine as the protege from 93-02

also according to K&N's oil filter application list it looks like the 6 is not listed as using the same oil filter as the pro, but the 626, late 90s 1.8L miatas, and rx-8s use the same oil filter...which means if it fits an rx-8 then you'll probably be fine, but if you are using the msp oil cooler you may have fitment issues as all the msp guys do because it's already a 'sandwhich plate' if you will and gets in the way

Cool....thanks, although I already made thee mistake of prdering the wrong one... lol.... I hope prosport can exchange it for me.... lol

well it will cost about 5000 aus 4 me. as i'm going forged internals just to make it safer and last longer. and plus all the parts cost sheit loads due to shipping from the states

Yeah, but first you have drop in a 4 rotor engine. If I had a million dollars, that would be my car. A protege with 1000+ HP? It would def. have to be a sleeper. Go waste some ricers with that. And lots of gas.

if im not going to use the smic is it still recomended i use the msp radiator, and will i still need the msp condensor in order to use my a/c
