no, im just saying me and a bunch of idiots would rather race a speed 3 than a 370.
You'd rather race the slower car? That makes sense.
now let me ask you this, you refer to your car as a sleeper which would imply that you try to blend in with regular vehicles. where do you race then? i don't see very many normal traffic regular vehicles at the track. if you are drag racing on the track then what's your purpose for a sleeper??
Track days and autocross are fun, and not everyone can afford multiple cars for their every conceivable want and need. I get to enjoy my car on the weekend and drive my car to work Monday morning. My car also looks almost exactly like a Mazda3 hatch, and it doesn't get much attention. I like this because I do not get as many dumb kids in poorly modified rusting out Integras riding my bumper and flashing their lights or reving at me at a stop light as I would in, say, a last-gen STI. Or an Evo. Or a Porsche.
As far as evidence, Mr. Smarty Pants, i'm substantiating that on a group survey of 6 of my friends. Five of which will attest to have been through rigorous training to seek out and instigate a competition. It is a competition to see which of the two vehicles and drivers is faster from getting from point A, to point B on a given course that is selected at the time of confrontation. So 5 out of 6 would be 83% of people that i travel with, regularly, would give you more attention than an old man in a revmatching 370. Is this evidence sufficient to place reasonable doubt in your previous statement regarding where attention would be mostly placed?
Someone needs to take a statistics course and learn what "sample size" and "demographics" mean. I don't particularly care what you and your friends are more likely to do, I care what the majority of drivers on the road are going to do, and if you take the street-racer morons (like you) and look at them as a whole, many of them may not be able to tell my car is a 'speed3 at a quick glance, but all of them will be able to tell if I'm in a 350z/370z. That means I get a pass from a good chunk of the hyper-aggressive morons on the road that don't understand that there is a time and a place for ******* around and that
in traffic isn't it, which means I generally have less crap to deal with on the road. By crap, I mean you and your 2Fast friends boxing me in on a highway to try and goad me into a roll-on or something equally juvenile.
Incidentally, paying tickets isn't paying dues. No one gives a crap that you've paid the stat $2000 in tickets over four years or whatever when you take out several thousand dollars worth of public/private property, or kill someone, or drive up the insurance rates of everyone in your area by well more than $2000 over 4 years, all because you are too stupid or too lazy or too closeted to either do your penis measuring with a ruler or find a god damn track day.
