Thermal Research & Development Exhaust?

Hi everyone just to let you guys know. My car has a good chance to be prototyped from this company. I would like to know how you guys feel about this company?

BUMP...I had a Thermal exhaust on my '93 Civic and I loved it!! Very nice throaty sound. It was not too loud, and didn't resonate at all(not ricey). Very nicely designed as well. Hopefully you get it

Thermal kicks arse!!!! One of my racing buds back east, threw one on his 95 Eclipse GSX. He had nothing but good things to say about it.

Just a suggestion to give to theremal. make the exhust be able to not only fit the MSP but with the exception of say one peice, also fit the regualr sedan. I would hope they are going for a 2.5" or larger, as they should, and alot of sedans that are turboed REALLY could use a great 2.5" exhuast as no one makes one yet.

You are correct Brook, However Thermal only has a 2.25" for the Protege 5 and no other offerings for us at ALL!

I've heard good and bad about Thermal. Never used any of their stuff, but I'm a welder so I make my own exhaust.

So how would you guys feel to have a Cat-Back Exhaust from Thermal and then package it up w/ our (Tri-Point Engineering) DownPipe and High Flow Cat? How many of you guys would be interested in that or do other people that currently make it have the majority of the market? Would you say 2.5" Exhaust System would be good enough for that? Do you guys know if these MSP's are the same cat-back system as a Normal MP3/Protege/Protege5?

Plus, keep in mind they are full stainless. Most basic Japanese catback exhausts are aluminized steel with a stainless muffler. Full stainless Japanese catbacks start at around $750, whereas most Thermals are around $500. Ask any DSM guy and they will tell you that they are the best exhaust PERIOD, regardless of price.
