Jesus, Dale, it isn't like we didn't believe that your friend has done work to his car, all we are saying is that the work he does to his car doesn't mean he knows what he is doing taking apart your car. I at least didn't mean to hurt any feelings about the situation, just wanted to make it clear that the BPV needed to go back onto the car asap and you did, good. Now I want to know if you guys put it on correctly, is the arrow on the BPV pointing towards the front or the rear of the car? I was looking at your picture in the other thread and noticed that your vacuum line is in a diferent position than mine but it has been awhile since mine was in stock location, I just want to make sure you positioned it correctly otherwise it is the same as having it off. noblody is saying he's a bad guy or doesn't know how to work on his car, we're just trying to help you not blow up yours. people seem to be quick to attack you about these things casue of the way you bring it to the table. Like the BPV to begin with, neither of you knew what that was and you just disconnected and capped that off then went and installed a MBC just to see how the car felt. That's fine, play with the car but find out what things are first so you know that removing this or that isn't a major issue, most of the times capping something off on a turboed car is not a good idea, think about it. Another thing I can promise you is there are some people here who could walk up to any turboed car and point out the compnents of it and call them by name, your friend should have been able to recognize that as either a BOV or a BPV and should have known not to cap it off. you get what I am saying. I like his car and it looks like he has put some time and money into it, and i sure hope he is faster, two more cylinders, larger engine, stronger internals, and same weight or close to it, yeah he should be faster. But always remember there is always somebody who is faster with less out there somewhere.
