The Slammed Life

I think I'm inclined to agree with sticking with 4 lug. With Honda, VW, some BMW, Mazda (especially Miatas) and many others involved in the slammed / stance / whatever trend that's going on right now, you will probably have pretty good luck finding some of these custom wheel sizes and offsets that you desire. While 5x4.5" (5x113.4) is also popular, I don't think the selection is out there as much.

^ Coming from a guy who has 3 cars with 4x100 pattern and one with 5x114.3

Depends on wheel size IMO. 16" and under have a ton more 4x100 selection, but 17" and up have a lot more 5x114.3, so it really depends on what wheel diameter you are looking for.

it'll blow?

The Zoom Zoom Boom stickers didn't start for no reason... The FS-DE is not a boost friendly motor in stock form.

Dude....you wont get anywhere near 300WHP before you throw a rod out the side of the block. The head studs arent the problem so you might as well not waste the money. The rods are like tooth picks, they bend, and once they bend, out the block they go. I wouldnt go above 220whp on stock block for fear of blowing it up. These motors dont take well to boost, especially not on stock internals. If you want to make cheap horsepower, your not getting it from a protege, simple as that

True story.

Aaah. Good point. A lot of the older Hondas and VW's make 16" wheels look huge

Umm, not sure if gold looks good on red? That's a dope color combination. Just google it. And look at Strick's pics

I have to chuckle at you slammed / stance guys. You sure do have wheel ADD at times. Haha. Not hating, just getting a good chuckle out of it.
